The Blacksmith Restaurant serves distinctive new ranch cuisine in the historic Pearson Blacksmith Shop in Downtown Bend (Greenwood Avenue at Harriman). The newly-renovated restaurant will make diners nostalgic for the comfort foods of the past with a contemporary spin.
Executive chef Gavin McMichael features a seasonally changing menu, creating new classics like: “Lobster Corndogs,” “Not Your Mother’s Meatloaf” and “Northwest Cheesesteak.” McMichael has been the executive chef at high profile guest ranches, upscale restaurants and was the executive sous-chef for Stephen Pyles on his television show, New Tastes of Texas. He has also been the executive chef to the rich and famous on exclusive charter yachts in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Pacific Northwest. The Blacksmith has been recognized by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the “top 66 new restaurants in the world.”
