Mirror Mirror on the… Tap!
Yes, it’s true! We’re overjoyed to announce Deschutes Brewery’s Mirror Mirror barley wine is now being served on draught. This oak-barrel aged beauty has a lot going on including a light hop aroma with slight citrus notes, some delicious vanilla and oak flavors swirling through the rich malty sweetness with fig, toffee, and caramel highlights, and a hearty viscous mouthfeel that will give your palate plenty to think over through the lingering finish. Though the brewery has recommended aging this one until at least April of 2010, we couldn’t wait that long to give it a try. However, we are planning to cellar a couple of kegs until a later date so we can enjoy it again when those flavor notes come to their ultimate crescendo! Come enjoy it while it lasts.
