Soba Ale Arrives

Rogue Brewing produced several beers in coordination with Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto utilizing soba (also known as buckwheat) as one of the base malts. The Morimoto Black Obi Soba Ale is the darkest offering in this series and is now available in 22 ounce bottles here at The Blacksmith. Aromas of roasted malt lead you into a nutty, toffee flavor with notes of chocolate and espresso. The soba contributes a lighter body and crisp finish. Enjoy this one with our delicious ribs or a hearty steak and you’ll be pleased with the combination.
