The second of the “artisanal collaboration” between New Belgium Brewing (Fort Collins, CO producers of Fat Tire amongst many others) and Elysian Brewing (Seattle, WA producers of the delicious Immortal IPA and The Wise ESB), Trip II is only available on draft in the Northwest and is proudly being featured here at the Blacksmith. The talents of these two fine breweries is evident from the first sip. Fermented with a Belgian yeast strain, which adds some light fruity character in the form of grapefruit and lemongrass, this light golden ale also features Magnum and Citra hops. Well balanced and highly quaffable at 6.5% ABV and 55 IBU. Come give it try!
